Alright, so you've just spent a long hard afternoon stamping out the perfect card. You had to mount your rubber stamp to the then carefully cut out the Gumball template to make the perfect card for your best friend's sister's roomate. Whew! What a lot of work went into this little project! It's almost perfect...

Unfortunately, just as you were finishing your stamping masterpiece, you accidentally spilled glue all across the face of your card. Right about now, you're wishing you had used some (and joined the Mono Adhesive Club, too, I'm sure) instead of that nasty glue you've been using. Right about now, you're feeling like picking up all your rubber stamping and scrapbooking tools, and chucking them out the window (or perhaps mailing them to your best friend's sister's roomate and telling her to 'Make your OWN dumb card').

Right about now... you need a break! Here are some fun games vaguely related to stamping. They're not related enough to drive you mad remembering why you wanted to take a break, but they are related enough so that you can (hopefully) remember why it is you enjoy rubber stamping in the first place.

Here's an easy one! You're job, as an expert stamper, is to use your stamping skills to clean up your table. As is often the case, your working surface is quite cluttered. And every expert stamper knows, you can't work well with a cluttered table. (Of course, that hasn't stopped Victorine, but that's beside the point...) So, let's put all this stamping stuff away!

GOAL: Clear the entire table surface in as few moves as possible. You're mother would be proud.

Instructions: Each time you click on an area of the tabletop, you'll either clean up stamping items, or dump more items onto the table. Each adjacent space is 'toggled', so you'll have to plan carefully how to clean up your little mess.

This is a classic. You've got just enough room on your table for 16 stamps. You've used up all your space, with only enough room to move your inventory around. Boy, you must be tickled to own so many stamps! Good luck in getting things organized.

GOAL: Order your stamps from 1 to 15, leaving the remaining space in the bottom-right corner.

Instructions: Move stamps into the available empty space by clicking on the stamp image. Try and order all your stamps so the first row runs from 1 to 4, the second row runs from 5 to 8, etc. In the end, you should have all 15 stamps in order, and your empty space should sit quietly at the bottom-right.

It's sad, but sometimes in our society, stamping goes awry. Feelings are hurt. Skirmishes becomes outbreaks. Next thing you know, war has been declared. All for the want of a stamp...

GOAL: Find the enemy stamp collection before your own collection is wiped out.

Instructions: Click on a square in an attempt to find (and destroy) the enemy stamp collection.

So, you think you've got what it takes to be an expert stamper, eh? Well, as all of us know, simply having a knack for stamping isn't enough. There are times when one must utilize extreme problem-solving skills to finish that perfect card. The following mystery will push your problem-solving abilities to the limit.

You are the detective in charge of locating a set of four missing stamps. The stamps are hidden out of sight in a grid. Each stamp has a special property, however, that make it difficult to locate. Being a smart detective, you've brought along a flashlight which you may use to help you find the stamps. Shine your flashlight into the board and, based on the light you see coming out, deduce the location of each special stamp.

GOAL: Deduce the location and label each of the hidden stamps.

Instructions: Select an arrow to choose a direction to shine your light into the board. Look for where the light comes out. Based on the light's behavior, you must deduce where each of the special stamps are hidden. Click a square on the board to label it with the appropriate symbol showing each stamp's hidden location. Once you are satisfied with your guess, press 'Finished!' to check your answer.

Each stamp has unique characteristics. The RED STAMP has the ability to deflect all incoming light to the right. Likewise, the BLUE STAMP deflects light to the left. The MIRROR STAMP reflects light directly back on itself, and the SHADOW STAMP absorbs all light, leaving no trace behind.

In order to make it easier for you, place 'open' markers on spaces you are certain contain nothing. This will help you deduce the proper locations for the secret stamps.

Who said stamping isn't an intellectual sport? Now is your chance to prove to the world that stamp lovers have sharp minds. This is the classic "Stamp It Up Challenge" that your grandfather probably told you about. You know, back in the day when he and his friends used to stamp... uphill... both ways... in the snow... without an ink pad...

GOAL: Fill in the entire board with your red stamping ink in as few moves as possible.

Instructions: Move your stamp in the classic chess move a knight would make (that is, two forward, one side). Click on a square to move your stamp. Each time you stamp the board, it will change color. See how many moves it takes you to stamp it up!

Haven't you ever wanted to be able to open your brain, and stamp something important right there so you wouldn't forget? No? Uh... well, Victorine has. So, let's make her feel good, and pretend that you've wanted to remember things in this manner as well.

While this game won't actually allow you to open your skull for some neuro-stamping action, it will help you sharpen your memory. Have at it!

GOAL: Find the matching stamp images in as short a time as possible.

Instructions: Click on a tile to view a stamp. Click another tile in an attempt to find the matching stamp. If they match, the tiles remain. If not, the images are hidden, and you must look again. Once you've mastered the easy levels, try a harder one!

You've been stamping all day long. You've got rubber stamps piled up to the ceiling, waiting for your attention. They need to be cleaned and put away nicely, right? You don't want to have to sort through all your rubber stamps the next time you want to make the perfect card, now do you?

The only problem is, your stamps can only be put away in groups. No single stamp can be removed from your table. Why? Why, you ask? Well, it has to do with the Internation Stamping Rules, Section VI (Cleaning Up Your Stamps), Title 3 (How to Clean Up Stamps), Subsection 24 (Rubber Stamp Storage), Paragraph 1: "You have to put them away in groups." Go look it up if you don't believe me!

Good luck. And remember, let's do our best to live up to the "No Stamp Left Behind" policy...

GOAL: Clear the entire board of stamps. Don't leave any behind. Not even one.

Instructions: Move your mouse over a set of stamps. If there are more than one of the same color touching, they will turn grey, indicating they may be removed. Click on a stamp to remove it (and all adjoining stamps) from the table. As stamps are cleared, the table will be re-arranged (thanks to gravity... er, and magic).

The ancient art of frustration is well-known to even the newest of stampers. Yet only the truly seasoned stamping warrior has achieved the great characteristic of patience. StampJongg is an ancient practiced used by stampers in the early 1400's to hone their patience and prepare for the moment of enlightenment that comes with making the perfect card. (And believe me, it took a lot of patience back then - they had to stamp on animal skins, using nothing but mixed berries for ink. Tough under any conditions. Especially when the Huns were invading. Trying to make that perfect card to warn the Emperor... You've got it easy, kid.)

Here is your chance, young Grasshopper. Go to, and hone your stamping patience by playing StampJongg.

GOAL: Clear the entire StampJongg board of all stamps.

Instructions: Stamps are removed in pairs. Click on a stamp and it's match to remove it from the board. However, the stamps you wish to remove cannot be covered by another stamp, or blocked on both sides.
